N me fter the Dimpo with which I had the last three months my lights dimmed (see posting dated 31.12.2009), had become too rigid, I had from the company SMD the Vario Lux Control + the SMD Abschaltplatine worried.

The functions of the variable Lux Control are as follows:

• sunrise and sunset
• Tagbeleuchtungshelligkeit adjustable from 1-100%
• moon simulation
• cloud simulation
• tropical dawn simulation
• weather
• Einbrennfunktion the fluorescent
• hour meter of the fluorescent lamps
• water temperature (via sensors)
• light brake upon exceeding a variable set water temperature

All parameters are variable adjustable.
For me this looks as follows (4 fluorescent tubes, 2 channels)

• sunrise start (Channel 1): 08:00 clock
• sunrise period (Channel 1): 30 min
• sunrise start (Channel 2) : 08:15 clock
• sunrise time (Channel 2): 30min

• Daylight quality (Channel 1): 50%
• Daylight quality (Channel 2): 40%

• tropical dusk (Channel 1 +2) Start: 12:30 clock
• tropical twilight darken: to 10% runtergedimmt
• tropical twilight end: 14:30 clock
• tropical twilight transition: the 15min

• cloud simulations are randomly on both channels instead

• sunset date (Channel 2) : 21:15 clock
• sunset time (Channel 2): 30min
• sunset beginning (Channel 1): 21:30 clock
• sunset time (Channel 1): 30 min

this I for the Vario Lux Control must run any additional power supply (12V power supply) I got myself the Abschaltplatine of SMD and integrated it into my lamp.
is about to get the controller and both ECG sensors connected. The
arranged on the board relay to interrupt power to the ballast after sunset and thus switches the light off completely. A timer for the lamp is no longer necessary.
